My story
Hi! I'm Mire, nice to meet you!
I've always loved candles, but there was something that never quite convinced me: when I blew them out, they left a very strong smell and all that feeling of calm disappeared. I started looking into it and discovered that many are made with paraffin, a petroleum derivative. So I decided to try a more natural alternative and start making my own candles with soy wax.
What began as a hobby and a small dream, over time became My Mood And Essence.
Now I share that essence through every candle and every workshop: a moment to disconnect, create with your hands and dedicate a little time just for yourself. 🤍
An afternoon to unwind
For a while we put our phones aside, play soft music and start creating.
I'll show you step by step how to make your candle, you'll choose the fragrance you love most and decorate it your way.
When the workshop ends, you'll leave with a candle you made yourself and, hopefully, wanting to come back.

Small gestures that keep your candle with you for much longer.
The first time
The first time, keep it lit until all the top wax has melted. This stops a hole forming in the centre.
Max 3 hours
Don't keep it lit for more than 3 hours in a row. Let it rest and light it again whenever you like.
Trim the wick
When it's off and cool, trim the wick to about 0.5 cm before relighting. It will burn cleaner.
The last bit
When less than 1 cm of wax is left, stop using it to avoid damaging the vessel.
